Funders and their giving
7,774 Minnesota funders, 39,622 IRS returns and 191,476 grant awards, of which 14,088 are federal awards from USAspending. 112,555 nonprofits from the The IRS list of tax-exempt organizations: name, EIN, address, classification and reported revenue., so a grantee on a return can be matched to its own record.
Places
Minnesota is covered to the local level: 855 cities, 1,797 townships, every county, 13 tribal areas and 14 regional bodies, each placed inside its county and region so a search for a county finds the programs of every city in it. 961 funder and agency pages are read for deadlines and how to apply.
How often it refreshes
The catalog is rebuilt monthly: each build re-reads every source last read more than 28 days ago. Saved-search alerts, prospect alerts and deadline reminders go out daily.
When a page source cannot be reached, its records from the last build are kept rather than dropped. A build that would remove more than half of a source’s records stops instead. AnyGrant follows each site’s robots.txt, and a source that blocks automated reading is recorded as blocked, never worked around.
