Ask about any grant and see where the answer came from

The assistant answers questions about opportunities, funders and your own grants, and every answer names the listing, the NOFO section, the IRS return or the record it came from.

What you can ask

Ask in plain words. The assistant looks the answer up rather than recalling it.

Opportunities
Who is eligible, when it is due, how much it awards, what to submit, how it is scored.
NOFO sections
The exact section of the funding announcement behind each answer.
Funders
What a foundation has funded, where, and at what size, from its IRS returns; then each funder’s grants and stated deadlines when you ask a follow-up.
Your own grants
What is due this month, which awards are under-spent, what you have drawn down.

Every answer shows its source

Each answer cites its sources inline. Open one to see the passage or record it rests on. A citation the lookup did not actually return is removed before you see the answer, numbers are quoted from the source rather than worked out, and a forecast is called an estimate. When the sources do not answer a question, the assistant says so instead of guessing.

Questions about your own grants are answered from your workspace only, and read it without changing anything.
